The case is made of weatherproof, padded industrial vinyl and it protects the monitor from scratches, dust, and light rain. A built-in adjustable screen cover hood protects the screen from sunlight that may interfere with viewing. The viewing window is also covered with a clear durable plastic for screen protection.
